Well done, Jacob! Your revised version of the unit plan addresses most of the suggestions that I had initially. I'm glad that you are raising questions through a brief discussion and activity (for example, whether 1 is a prime, or how to solve the locker problem), then bringing into play other elements of teaching that help support this, and then revisiting the initial question with more to work with. I appreciate your explanation of the vertex game (which sounds like fun!) and of the factorization gestures (based on Sarah Chase's work). Excellent rubric for the project! All in all, this looks like a very well thought out sketch of your unit. I wish I could be there to see how it all goes in your class! Sounds exciting.
